The Escola de Surf do Litoral Alentejano (ESLA), is based in a beautiful bungalow on Sao Torpes Beach in the municipality of Sines, Portugal. Founded on April 1st 1998, it was the first surf school in the Alentejo and one of the first schools in the country. Because of the excellent conditions to teach surfing, ESLA is open all year round. Flavio Caldeira Jorge is the Mentor and responsible for ESLA, a first generation surfer from Sao Torpes (1987/1988), he is a passionate surfer, level II Coach and Champion of the first regional circuit in 1994.
